Welcome to CIGKL

• Established in 1966, the Society was founded on the belief that Heads of institutions for learning and members of the teaching community played a vital role in the uplifting and betterment of teaching, teaching methods/aids and activities and so, must be assured of adequate recognition and support. A high population density, makes the development of any comprehensive value based, life-supporting educational programme for all, difficult to achieve in the short-term.

• The CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF GENERAL KENOWLEDGE LEARNING (CIGKL), focuses on the need to motivate and encourage the teaching community with a knowledge bank and inputs to enable and ensure that their endeavors towards developing better student communities does not go unrewarded.
  The institute not only conducts competitive tests and evaluation programmes for students but also gives recognition to the hard work of the teaching community in meeting the constantly shifting demands of the students as well as that of the institution. It is the teachers who serve to shape and mould children in the formative years preparing them for their role in life, keeping in life, keeping in view, individual ability and aspirations.
  The examinations conducted by CIGKL are scientifically designed, skill-based assessment developed in India for Indian schools,after a detailed study of the syllabi of CBSE. Rather than testing rote learning it focuses on measuring how well SKILLS and CONCEPTS underlying the school syllabus have been learnt by the student. The test provides information on the strengths and weaknesses of individual students and also entire classes. It helps thstudent to asses self before the final examination and gives them a platform to prove themselves on a global level
